Celebrating 20 years of producing Detroit’s world-renowned Movement Music Festival, Paxahau has revealed the complete 2026 lineup featuring over 115 acts, led by headliners Carl Cox, electronic music superstar Dom Dolla, and Techno maven Sara Landry. 

“Movement is one of my favorite festivals,” said Dom Dolla.“The history, the scope of performers and range of people coming together from multiple generations and backgrounds, make it one of the most meaningful events to play. I’m very grateful to Paxahau, Chuck, and the Detroit electronic community for welcoming me back and I’m very excited to return.”

Today’s announcement also includes acclaimed songwriter and producer The Dare (known for his global hits “Girls”, “Perfume” as well as his production on Charli xcx’s era-defining album Brat); UK rising star and You&Me label boss Josh Baker; Bristol-born DJ and producer Eli Brown; Tech House sensation AYYBO. Paxahau are also marking the special year with a landmark selection of special collaborations and pairings: hometown hero Carl Craig joins Chicago House legend Cajmere (Carl Craig b2b Cajmere); multitalented performer, actor, and DJ Zack Fox teams up with global DJ and Rinse FM host Jyoty (Zack Fox b2b Jyoty); NYC House icons The Martinez Brothers link up with Detroit Techno legend Eddie Fowlkes (The Martinez Brothers b2b Eddie Fowlkes); German electronic music pioneer Boys Noize (currently on the Nine Inch NailsPeel It Back Tour”) joins Berlin duo MCR-T (Boys Noize b2b MCR-T); Detroit Techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson revives his coveted E-Dancer moniker alongside his son Dantiez; Techno maestros Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald reunite as Borderland (Live); New York House music legend Louie Vega and his partner Anané present The Ritual with Anané & Louie Vega; breakout electronic music duo DJ Heartstring connect with Australian Techno duo X Club. These artists join the previously announced lineup featuring Scottish breakout DJ and producer Barry Can’t Swim, Brazilian house music superstar Mochakk, acclaimed UK jungle revivalist Nia Archives (DJ Set), Dutch dance phenomenon Ki/Ki; experimental hip-hop veteran Danny Brown (hot off his acclaimed album release Stardust on Warp Records); festival favorites 999999999; along with Hot Since 82, ANNA, Dax J (Live); Voices From The Lake, Kevin Saunderson (solo performance); Ellen Allien b2b DJ Stingray 313, and many others.

In keeping with its tradition of celebrating Detroit’s impact on the culture, the festival has once again booked a panoply of the city’s most adroit talent, including the iconic DJ, producer, and House Your Life founder DJ Minx; breakout hip-hop star PEEZY; Ghostly International co-founder Matthew Dear as Audion (Live), powerhouse trio and Defected Records artists Dames Brown; enigmatic electronic music producer Terrence Dixon (Live); Detroit poet laureate jessica Care moore (who will be doing a short spoken word performance ahead of Carl Craig’s 69 set); plus: Tammy Lakkis, DJ Godfather, Kyle Hall b2b Byron the Aquarius, JMT, Salar Ansari, Whodat, Rimarkable, KESSWA, Disco Jockey George, and many more.

Music fans from across the globe will once again make the pilgrimage to Detroit, the birthplace of Techno, and be treated to three days of diverse curation on Memorial Day Weekend (May 23-25, 2026) inside Hart Plaza at downtown Detroit’s iconic riverfront. Since taking the helm in 2006, Paxahau has cultivated Movement into a globally acclaimed electronic music festival, honoring Detroit’s revolutionary legacy while pushing the culture forward through highly intentional programming that bridges seasoned legends with the rising stars shaping the genre’s future.
