"Olga Kouklaki’s cooperation with F Communications has made her one of the most promising acts of Greece. The 1979 born artist moved to Paris in order to get in close contact with the Parisian music scene. While being there she released her first track with Sumsonic, called Don’t Look At Me, by the name ODD. It was not much later after that, that she began working with Laurent Garnier’s label. Apart from her own musical productions she has contributed her vocals to Fred Avril’s track TV Dinner and Poni Hoax’s track Budapest, while at the same time she participates at the live project of Bang Bang (Yellow prod.) and Nouvelle Vague (Peacefrog) as a programmer-keybord player. Her debut album Get A Life is due to be released through the label Perfect Kiss."

"This is Boom Bip's first solo record in quite a while as he's been busy producing Bus Driver's latest album and the Neon Neon project with Gruff Rhys from Super Furry Animals. DJ Magazine in the UK described it as 'an amazing comeback'.

"Love Anja Vijster, who begins one of the songs on Flunk's new album by crooning "I'm a weirdo" in such a vibrant and happy way that it can't help but make me embrace my own inner weirdo, too. I simply can't understand how these guys don't have an American distributor. What, is there no God of Pop? Following their marvelous "Morning Star" (2004) and "Music for Sleepyheads" (2002), Flunk have conjured up another mystical, enchanting delight for anyone who takes their dreaming seriously or their seriousness dreamily. I actually got the album directly from Beatservice in Norway when I heard "Sit Down" on their MySpace page two or three months ago. The soul of the album are the four songs "Haldi," "Sit Down," "See You" and "Two Icicles," which run the gamut from heartbroken lament ("See You") to triumphant joy, ("Two Icicles.") I would say of all their albums, this is the one I can listen to all the way through consistently, it has such a broad range of emotions. It's a little moodier than "Morning Star" but more upbeat than "Music for Sleepyheads." All in all, it is a must have, even at the import price. There are very few groups that can stir a sense of dreamy reverie like these guys and combine that with a deep feeling for the joy and power of love."

"The Norwegien magic spins again with Flunk's sophomore album Morning Star. The haunting ambience of the opening track Play opens with the dreamy vocals of Anja and continues from where they left us off on For Sleepyheads only.

At this point the group is very good at the electronica/folk combination. Songs usually carry a strong melody or hook coupled with light guitars and sparse electronic effects, and is a bit less dark compared to Sleepyhead.

Some great tracks include Morning Star, On The Balcony, Six Seven Times and of course, a cover of the seminal New Order classic True Faith which they have obviously turned into their own."
